Description of PromoLink Services
Welcome to PromoLink. PromoLink is an app designed to connect promoters looking for brand activation opportunities with companies and agencies in need of promoters. Promoters can search, select, and apply for promotional gigs listed on the app by agencies or event organizers. These opportunities include event hostessing, sales, brand ambassador roles, and various other promotional jobs. Applications are subject to approval by the listing agency or event organizer.
PromoLink operates as a marketplace for promotional jobs. Agencies pay a monthly premium for listings, while promoters may apply for jobs on either a free or subscription basis. There are no additional costs payable to PromoLink by promoters, aside from the optional subscription fee, which provides enhanced features such as unlimited job applications.
The promoter agrees to follow the reasonable guidelines and rules of conduct set by the hiring agencies or event organizers. These rules will be provided to the promoter upon request by contacting PromoLink.
Legal Entity
The PromoLink app, brand, intellectual property, and operations are owned by Promotion ZA Pty Ltd (REG number 2024186363). Any references, rights, liabilities, or obligations mentioned in these terms as belonging to PromoLink are applicable to Promotion ZA Pty Ltd, which is bound by these terms.
Acceptance
These Terms apply to your use of the PromoLink app. By accessing, browsing, using, or registering for PromoLink’s services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not use the app or any related services.
Application and Approval Process
Once an application for a job is made on the PromoLink app, the agency or event organizer will review the application and respond within a reasonable time. Should the application be accepted, the promoter will receive relevant details about the job, including location, rate of pay, and any specific instructions.
Should an application be declined, neither PromoLink nor the agency will be held liable for any damages or obligations beyond notifying the promoter and processing any necessary refunds if applicable. Payments made in anticipation of an approved job application will be refunded in full within 24 hours if the application is not approved.
App Registration
As an unregistered user, you can browse the available promotional job listings. However, to apply for a job, you will need to register an account by providing a username, password, and any other required information. Registration requires filling in a form that creates login details. Once registered, you will be able to apply for jobs and manage your profile.
The information provided must be accurate and complete. Any misrepresentation may lead to account suspension or termination. You are solely responsible for all activities under your account, and charges incurred must be paid through the payment methods provided on the app.
Password/Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information. PromoLink will assume that any activity carried out under your account is authorized by you. PromoLink is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to your account. If you suspect any unauthorized use, you must immediately report it to tyler.promotionza.co.za
Export Restriction
The offering and related services offered by the PromoLink website and/or business is available in South Africa for local use and payment only.
Refunds Policy
The provision of services by PromoLink is subject to the approval of a promoter’s application by the agency or event organizer and to the promoter’s subsequent compliance with the reasonable rules and requirements set by the hiring party.
In the event that an application is rejected, the promoter will not receive any funds from the hiring party as they have not been selected/hired for the job specified. The promoter will lose their one free application for the given week if they have applied for a job but were unsuccessful in being selected.
The promoter acknowledges that upon acceptance of an application, they are bound by the full terms of the agreed contract and will have used up their one application credit if they are not a subscription member. Once a job is accepted, the promoter is liable for fulfilling the job requirements. In the event the promoter decides not to proceed or complete the job, no funds will be provided.
Customer Privacy Policy
PromoLink is committed to protecting the personal information of its users. For the purposes of this clause, “personal information” is defined in accordance with the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Acceptable Payment Options
Payments for PromoLink services may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express Cards, or by bank transfer into PromoLink’s bank account, details of which will be provided upon request.
Card Acquiring and Security
Card transactions are handled via Stripe LLC, an approved payment gateway for South African banks. Stripe LLC uses PCI DSS Level 1, and ISO27001 certified encryption to protect card details, which are not stored on the PromoLink app or website. Customer Details Separate from Card Details
Customer details are stored by PromoLink separately from card details, which are processed on Stripe's secure site. More information about Stripe can be found at www.stripe.com/guides
PromoLink operates in South Africa. All transactions are conducted in South African Rand (ZAR).
The services offered by PromoLink are available in South Africa for local use and payment only. PromoLink's platform facilitates connections between agencies and promoters for brand activations and promotional jobs within South Africa.
Responsibility
Promotion ZA (Pty) Ltd trading as PromoLink does not accept responsibility for any disputes, customer service issues, or other aspects relating to the transactions and services sold via the platform.
Country of Domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa. Promotion ZA (Pty) Ltd chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement the following address: Johannesburg, South Africa.
Variation
PromoLink may, at its discretion, change these Terms or any part of the agreement without prior notice.
PromoLink also reserves the right to:
- Modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, the app or website (or any part of it) with or without notice, and shall not be liable for any modification or withdrawal.
- Change these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app or website following such changes constitutes acceptance of these changes. It is the user's responsibility to review the Terms periodically. If the user does not agree to any changes, they must immediately stop using the services.
- Adjust the services provided. PromoLink will use reasonable efforts to maintain the app and website. Users will not be eligible for compensation in the event that access to the services is temporarily unavailable or withdrawn due to circumstances beyond PromoLink’s control.
Accuracy of Content
PromoLink has taken reasonable steps to ensure that all the data and information displayed on the website or app is current, accurate, and complete. However, errors may still occur. The content and information provided on our platform is offered without any guarantees, conditions, or warranties as to its accuracy or completeness. To the extent permitted by law, PromoLink disclaims all representations and warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content. Much of the data on PromoLink is provided by users and third-party service providers, which we do not audit or verify. Using this content where prohibited by law may nullify this disclaimer.
Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights
PromoLink and its content suppliers retain ownership of all intellectual property rights on the website, app, and any associated materials (e.g., text, images, logos, and data). These materials are protected by both South African and international copyright laws. Unauthorized copying, reproducing, distributing, or otherwise exploiting any content or component without permission will infringe on PromoLink's intellectual property rights.
Trademarks, names, logos, and service marks used by PromoLink are proprietary, and their use without written permission is prohibited. PromoLink grants users a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access the website or app strictly for personal use, and this does not include:
- Reselling or commercial use of the content.
- Using PromoLink’s service listings, descriptions, or prices for competitive purposes.
- Derivative use of the content or website.
- Use of any automated data gathering methods like robots or data mining.

Payment and Pricing
PromoLink provides flexible pricing for promoters and agencies, including subscription models. By subscribing or applying for jobs, users agree to pay the specified charges, which are subject to change at PromoLink’s discretion.
Warranties
PromoLink makes no guarantees or warranties regarding the operation of the website or app, the accuracy of its content, or the availability of its services. The use of PromoLink’s platform is entirely at the user’s risk. PromoLink disclaims any liability for damages, including direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or services.
Indemnity
By using PromoLink, you indemnify the platform, its directors, employees, and agents against any claims or damages arising from your use of the platform or services. PromoLink is not liable for any losses incurred due to errors, unauthorized access to your account, or third-party actions.
